I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, as it was less than a 5-minute walk from the beautiful spanish governor's palace and only about a 15-minute stroll to the vibrant la villita historic arts village. both places are fantastic for soaking in the local culture and enjoying scenic views while walking around the city.

We loved the quiet area, which was a perfect retreat after exploring nearby attractions. The owner, Umesh, was not only friendly but also made sure our stay was comfortable. Being within walking distance from the downtown market made it easy to find vegetarian and vegan food options.

We experienced a delay in receiving clean towels despite asking twice during our visit.

Even though I was told I could check out a bit later, the enforcement of the check-out time felt unnecessarily strict. I found the fee for the TV remote deposit a bit odd too, since it only adjusted the volume and power, not the channels. The lack of complimentary toiletries was a downside as well. I could have used some more shampoo and soap. Despite these issues, the stay was decent for the price, but I’d be cautious about rushing to stay here again.
